About me: Growing up in northern California helped foster within me a deep love for nature and have always felt myself drawn to the natural world despite my need for the cultural stimulation offered in metropolitan cities. Some of my favorite vacations involved road trips down the coast and camping. My family cared for a myriad of pets. From reptiles to rodents, birds, fish, and of course dogs and cats. The latter part of my life I've spent soaking up the underground art and music scene in Detroit, did some traveling and have worked as a Massage Therapist specializing in Thai-Yoga Massage for the last two years. I'll be looking into studying Pet Therapy soon, so stay tuned for that development! I'd love to be able to offer the same healing touch to your special family member that I've been able to provide to my human massage guests :)

Pictured here is my newest roommate, Lucy! She's an outrageously adorable mixed breed Maine Coon kitten that we rescued from the streets of our Bushwick neighborhood.

"My family has a 100 pound Rottweiler/Shepherd mix. Spunky is nine years old. As you can imagine, he is rather large and has a loud bark. Nancy made friends with him almost immediately. Nancy walked him frequently and we noticed that he would get excited to see her. When they returned from their hour long walk, she would massage his hips and legs. Spunky was very happy and very calm after this activity. Nancy did not show any signs of fearfulness or intimidation when she was around Spunky. I highly recommend Nancy as dog walker."
