About me: My name is Max and I have been taking care of dogs and cats as far back as I can remember. Growing up, I always had at least 2 cats in the house at all times, and later I was joined by a mutt named Lucy. More recently, I have been dog-sitting a pug named Homer, 2 poodles named Rusty and Piper and a wheaton terrier named Kirby.

I love cats and dogs of all ages, and I can handle any pet situation: from an old poodle who never wants to walk, to a pug who loves to go up spiral staircases but still hasn't figured out how to go down...

"Max grew up in our building and has helped us with our rescued pug, Homer. Our pug has separation anxiety, common in rescued dogs, and we were worried that we would not be able to leave him with anyone when we went on vacation. But he took to Max right away. So we leave Homer in Max's charge for all our vacations. Max is a responsible and caring man. When Homer sees him in the hall he runs up to greet him like family. I highly recommend Max Zimmerman for any job working with animals and people, too."
